Huangsha ancient ferry is an ancient Yellow River Ferry. It was crossed by Emperor Zhaojun of Han Dynasty, Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty, and expedition of Gerdan. Because his son of heaven crossed the river, it was also known as "the first ferry in the world". Zhu Yi, the king of Qingjing in Ming Dynasty, built ninghetai here to ensure the smooth passage of the ferry. He left a poem "Huangsha ancient ferry" to describe the magnificent scenery here.
